Well August is almost over....
and Fall is coming. I love Fall, it's my favorite time of year. This Summer has been pretty mind temperature wise except for about a week or two of really hot weather. It's been a pretty moderate Summer. Lot's of rain too.
Coming up in the near future we have a concert at the church. On Sept. 13 we're having Ernie Couch and Revival play. They sing Southern Gospel and some 50's sounding rock. hey're pretty good, Kim and I saw them at a church near us a few months ago.
The weekend before last Tucker got his 1st real strike. It didn't touch the bumpers at all. He was pretty excited.
I'm still feeling about the same, I hurt a lot and I'm taking a lot of pain pills but I'm surviving. Maybe one of these days I'll be back to normal. But at least I'm here. I admit though, the last couple of years have taken a lot of wind out of my sails. I'm simply not quite the man I use to be. The medical problems have taken a lot out of me, but dammit I ain't giving up.
So I'm gonna get off of here right now. See y'all later!!

Thanks for the comment. I don't know if it's courage though. It's simply necessity. The world isn't going to sit back and feel sorry for me because I'm disabled. I just gotta keep plugging along and do my best.
