How can it be that the best president is the one who is directly responsible for the deaths of 650,000 Americans AND the total destruction of almost half the country? And even scarier is that Obama says he admires Lincoln. Does this mean he is willing to use the military of the United States against Americans like Lincoln? Lincoln never let the Constitution get in the way of his goals. Just ask the newspaper editors who were jailed for writing against the war. I guess the 1st Amendment is just a suggestion, the liberals have already shown the 2nd Amendment is not important to them.
What's scary is that the average American thinks this too, they think Lincoln was some great saint. OMG, he freed the slaves. No one seems to remember that in every other major country on Earth at that time solved slavery without bloodshed. But not ours. But let's not forget that the Civil War was more than just slavery. It was an issue of States rights, the concept that since the states had voluntarily joined the nation that they could leave.
I wonder how many Southern States would have joined if they had known that they were, in effect, sealing their own doom. Of course in this modern age anything that reminds us of the Confederacy is bad. OMG they had slaves!!!!! Let's not forget that for almost 100 years before that the slaves were captured and were kept in slavery by the gov't represented by the good ole Stars and Stripes. And I'm sure if you ask any Indian they'll tell you that the Stars and Stripes has visited a lot more evil on them than the Confederate flag.
But the winner writes the history books, and the average American is too preoccupied to actually think for themselves. They'll just blindly accept what has been spoon fed to them by their masters. So it is no wonder Lincoln is the "best president", and it's no wonder Obama was voted in. The majority voted him in.
The opinion of 10,000,000 men is worthless if they're too stupid to think for themselves.
