What's been going on in my life.

I had surgery today for Hidradenitis under my left arm. Basically my sweat glands got clogged up and it's very painful. They got in there and did some cutting, hopefully this will take care of it but I may need more surgeries, the Dr is optimistic though. The link below kinda tells what it is.

I had a good Easter, the men of the Church cooked breakfast for everyone Sunday morning. I got stuck doing the dishes because there were already too many cooks in the kitchen but that's OK. We also had a sunrise service before eating, then we went to Bible study then had our regular service. That might seem a lot but I love Church so it was fun. I always feel strengthened after going.

Friday night the wife and I convinced her Mom to watch the boy and we went out. We had supper then went to a little local theatre. Just a bunch of local people who do plays about God, the Bible and life. It's a lot of fun. Here's the website http://www.sgtheatre.com/

Other than that just spending our tax refund, we work from home so having a good computer is essential so we got a new one. We also bought a couple of good office chairs.

The only thing I really splurged on was I got a new pocketknife, I've always had $20-$30 dollar Buck knives and Swiss Army knives but I wanted something a bit nicer. I got a Spyderco Navigator. Its awesome, it is a small gentlemans knife yet designed that it can handle big projects. That's exactly what I wanted. I could pull it out in Church to cut something and no one would think anything of it yet it's strong enough I could probably field dress a deer or cut linoleum. Here's a link that shows what it looks like. http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=193

Oter than that nothing really going on, just working, hanging out with the boy and enjoying life.

Naomi Campbell arrested for assault.....again

http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/03/30/campbell.arrest.reut/index.html

Gee, anyone wanna bet she gets away with it? I get so friggin tired of celebrities thinking it's ok for them to do crap that the rest of us couldn't do because they have the money for good lawyers. Of course they always get wussy judges who don't believe in justice, well justice for rich people anyway. This is the third time she's been charged with assault. Imagine if you or me had done that. We MIGHT get away with it once but by the second or third time we'd most defintely be in jail with a felony conviction. Hopefully they throw her butt in prison but I highly doubt it.

I also hope she gets the sued for an ungodly amount of money. Naomi, you've just made it on ducktapehero's list of POS celebrities. I would name them all but by the time I got done the internet would be obsolete.

Things that are confusing

Ok, we have the president wiretapping citizens phone lines to "keep us safe from terrorists" but yet the borders remain wide open. I guess terrorists talking on the phone are more of a danger than them crossing the border. Confusing

We have Washington DC with the highest crime rate in the country and the tightest gun control but people claim gun control lowers crime. Confusing

We have illegal immigrants who cross the border to come into our country, yet they hold on to their old ways and try to make this land like their home. Why? If you liked the other country so much why not stay? Confusing

We supposedly live in the freeist country in the world yet we more laws than any other country and a higher percentage of people in prison than communist China. Confusing

It is a widely accepted fact that prohibition led to the vast power of the mafia, yet people today can't see the similarities between prohibition and the current drug war. Confusing

We have violent crime in the streets yet I'm always hearing how cops are setting up stings to bust 16 and 17 year olds buying smokes. Confusing

Entrapment is unconstitutional, well unless your busting DWI suspects. On the same matter, they're called DWI checkpoints yet they check your drivers license even if they don't suspect you've been drinking. Confusing

I guess this sums it up, the last words of the National anthem are "The land of the free and the home of the brave" yet we have all kinds of laws that are purely designed to keep us safe. It seems to me that Americans would rather live in the land of the coward and the home of the safe and secure. Confusing........and pathetic.

Anti smoking laws

http://www.ky3.com/news/2598606.html

I think it's disgusting that non smoking nazi's are so inconsiderate they'll force business owners to cater to them. They whine about their rights. You're not concerned about rights. If you were you'd let the person who actually ran the business decide for themselves. That's true freedom. You, or smokers for that matter should not have the right to force business to do anything.

What's wrong with letting the owner decide? He's the one who has the money to lose. If you don't want to be around smoking go somewhere else. I guess it's better to persuade the gov't to further run our lives because you inconsiderate morons feel it's your "right" to force business to cater to you.

Here we go again

You've heard this story. Black person screws up, gets arrested, then cries racism.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12167411/from/RSS/

I'm sure you've heard of Cynthia McKinney, the black congresswoman who hit a capitol hill cop. Let me say for the record that shit like this causes more race problems than those idiots in the klan. White people are fuggin tired of it. If you screw up and get caught, the cop isn't racist. He's doing his job. Of course I doubt she'll see any jail time. Now if I hit a cop you can bet your ass I'd be sent to the pokey for a while.

Cynthia, you are a fuggin piece of shit hate mongering race whore. YOU and idiots like you are the biggest thing that keeps the fires of racism alive.

Reverand phelps

You're an idiot. I'm a proud Christian but people like you are making us look bad. You say God hates fags. I say God hates the sin but loves the sinner. That's what the Bible teaches. But you're not gonna let a little thing like the Bible get in the way of your agenda though are ya? Let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone. Sound familiar?

You claim to teach the Bible but I gotta feeling that your actions are just turning up the temperature in your room in hell. You need to quit making an ass out of yourself and actually READ the Bible. You know, like the parts where Jesus teaches about love and forgiveness.

Now a slight subject change but still on the same page. Some states are considering banning protests at funerals. I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand people should have the right to honor their late loved ones without morons like the one mentioned above disrupting the service but on the other hand, it's dangerous ground when you start banning protests. What's next?

This is one of those no win situations. Either way it's wrong. Well there is one other option but that's up to Phelps and others like him to quit being worthless maggots.

It's back

After dozens of requests the blog is back. OK just one request from Toad(sksboards) but that's enough.

Anyway, nothing much been going on lately. Just working and watching the boy grow up. He turned 1 on March 12th. We had a little party for him. It was fun.

I also bought a Makarov. It's a Russian designed handgun. I haven't had a chance to fire it yet as I've been too busy. I know my priorities are messed up.

Anyway, my daily bitch session. There's a girl at Church who's in her mid 30's. She is married to an abusive bastard who would rather sit around and smoke dope than play with his 4 year old son. And this is not just second hand rumor. This is the mother talking. Well, we babysat that 4 year old today for a few hours. He is a wild kid at church but he was a good kid for us today. I have a feeling because someone was actually involved with him and treated him nice.

I got out in the yard and tried to play a little baseball with him. It was instantly obvious no one had taught this young boy how to throw or bat. It would be different if he didn't have a dad but since he does this is just pathetic. But I tried the best I could to show him some basics and we had fun.

When his mother came to pick him up his mood instantly changed. He became sad and reverted back to the kid who doesn't listen. The mother is a good person but I guess being married to that guy she finds it hard to even stand up and discipline the kid. She went to the lawyer today but I don't know if it was a divorce lawyer. Hopefully it was.

I'd like to meet the father some time. He thinks he's tough because he can intimidate his wife. What a gutless coward. He may be brave enough to hit his wife but something tells me he wouldn't be as brave if I stood up to him. Of course if I beat the crap out of him he'd take it out on his family like the little worthless coward he is.

But if she does leave him and is safe, that gutless coward is fair game.
