It's my birthday!!!!

Well I'm 38 today, and I feel every second of it, plus about 10 years. LOL I can't complain about the day though. It's been a nice day. I got a new multi-tool from my wife, a Leatherman Blast. My sister got me a new flashlight, Kim's mom gave me money as did my grandmother. My parents got me a slingshot I've been wanting.

As for what's been going on, well I haven't been feeling too good. My legs have been hurting a lot. But I am determined to start getting more active. If I get up and get around I hurt less and I get more accomplished. Plus I don't want to sit my life away. I'm gonna hurt either way, might as well go out and do stuff.

The Chiefs finally won a game yesterday, it's pretty pathetic when winning a single game against a mediocre opponent is cause for celebration but that's what it has come to.

Tucker is about the same, he's growing fast and nothing fits him anymore. LOL Everything is too short. He's gonna be a firefighter this Halloween. This Xmas will be tight financially unless some money comes in. Oh well, we'll make sure Tucker has a good Xmas. Just being around family is what's important to me.

October is here!!!

I love it. This is my favorite time of year. Football, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all start this time of year. Plus, it's getting colder so you get more chance to cozy up to your loved ones. ;)

Around here, Kim, Tucker and I keep passing around each other sicknesses. It started out with bronchitis then we passed around the cold. Tucker and I are still fighting the cold. It's kicking my ass. I used to heal from these things pretty fast but not anymore. Maybe it's because I drink less.

Anyway, we're gonna go camping with my parents the wknd of the 17th and the 18th. I hope we have a lot of fun. I'm sure we will. It's always fun camping.

Tucker is growing up, he's not a baby or even a toddler anymore. He's a gangly kid now. It's great watching them grow up but it's also a little sad. I'll always miss my baby boy. He's gonna be a firefighter this year.

I'm gonna be 38 years old. Man, time is flying by. I'm gonna be an old man before I know it. I just can't believe it. It's amazing how life seems, when you're young, so long but when you grow up it seems so short.
