So it's September now

It's been a month since I've updated this so here goes. This summer has been hot, just like usual. But it's still worth bitchin about. LOL Actually the last month hasn't been too bad, just a typical hot Ozarks Summer. A few days ago we had a hellacious thunderstorm. Springfield and several communities broke the record for most rainfall in a day. IIRC it was something like 5 inches officially but some parts got over 7.

Financially we've been REAL tight. We had to put front brakes on the Contour, that's always good to the checking account. But we survive, we just have to stay at home more often.

Tucker has started his Music class. He goes for an hour every Thursday. So far he really likes it. He also has his Homeschooling bowling league every Wednesday, he's only been once but he outbowled everyone who was even near his age. Needless to say I was one proud Papa.

This last weekend we went to Silver Dollar City, twice. We have Season Tickets so it's not too expensive, and it's a lot of fun. Tucker LOVES the rides where you get wet. With my back problems I just mainly sit and wait for Kim and Tucker to ride the rides but it's OK. We take a wheelchair out there so I don't have to walk all day.

Other than that it's about the same thing going on. Just trying to survive and get by. We're gonna go to an airshow here in a couple of weeks. Hopefully that'll be fun. Now that the weather is cooling down we're probably gonna go out and do more. Fall is our favorite time of year. And here in the Ozarks it's beautiful.

So, until next time....BYE!!!!!
