Well the Christmas season is here

I love Christmas. And it's here again. The tree is up and I'm gonna put the garland up later. I've got the nutcrackers out and all of our little "toys". Most of them are just little stuffed animals that play a song or something.

As usual Xmas will be tight but it'll be nice anyway. It isn't the price of the gift, it's the thought. And I'm sure that Santa will still be nice to Tucker. He always is.

The Chiefs are looking good. That's a surprise. And this is only the 1st year of their turnaround. I'm excited about the future. Todd Haley and Scott Pioli seem to be doing a great job. And our rookies are kicking ass.

Another bonus is that our favorite place to eat here in our town is going to start serving beer and wine come the New Year. They have the best cheezy fries I've EVER had.

Kim's Mom went up to Aunt Mary's house for a few months so it's just us three this Xmas. It'll be nice just being with Kim and Tucker.

The cold weather has moved in and as always we get a few mice that come into the house but there ain't too many. I put up a few traps and after 1 day they have, it seems anyway, gone away. It's always about this time of the year. We have an old house so it's not too difficult for them to get in. Although there's a lot of cats around outside so this year wasn't near as bad as some years have been.

I spent the last 3 days washing every dish in the house just to be safe. That was fun. But it didn't hurt to get everything out and wiped down.

Other than that things are about the same. Kim's busy working and I'm homeschooling Tucker. He's so smart. As I'm typing this I have him working on the multiplication tables. Not bad for 5 years old. He doesn't know all of them yet but he's getting there.

So I'm gonna get off of here, until next time...Bye!!!!

The McRib.....

RULES!!!!! I love McRibs. Yep, I'm one of those people. I absolutely love them. And when they come back it makes me so happy. Now granted I can't eat them all the time. I simply can't afford that. But if I could I probably would.

Anyway, I've been busy, Tucker has bowling league on Wednesdays, music class on Thursdays and the cup stacking class on some Fridays. And after the beginning of the year we're thinking about putting him into Martial Arts. Possibly Tae Kwon Doe. There's a class for homeschoolers that costs only $5 a week. But I'm considering getting into Aikido after the beginning of the year, but then again maybe I won't. It depends on my health. I think I'm looking at more surgeries.

My right shoulder has been feeling real loose again. That's always fun. I'm sure that at some point I'm gonna need a shoulder replacement eventually. I also think I've busted open my hernia again, I was doing some exercises to strengthen my back and I felt a "POP" in my gut and it's been hurting since.

Oh well, I'll survive. Hopefully one day I can get things fixed long enough for me to start getting back into some sort of shape, besides round of couse.

Other than that we're getting by. We've found a little local restaraunt that we really like but it's also extremely fattening so we don't eat there all the time. But it'd be great to. They have THE BEST cheesy fries. They cover them with ham, ugh, they're so good.

So anyway, I'm gonna get off of here. Until next time....BYE!!!

It's the day after Halloween

Tucker had a great time this weekend. Since Halloween was on a Sunday there was stuff to do all weekend long. Saturday night we took him to a couple of local churches that were putting on their Trunk or Treat stuff. And Sunday we took him up to Springfield so he could get even more candy. He got a buttload of stuff.

Other than that not much going on. Except our "visitor". Maybe everyone in the house is seeing things but there's something that likes to walk through the living room and walk up to you while you're on the computer. You never see it directly but out of the corner of your eye. It's weird. It's affecting our cats too. They stay in the back nowadays. Which is fine by me.

So now that Halloween is over I reckon that the Christmas season is officially here. Yeah we have Thanksgiving but honestly that's just part of Christmas now. Since we were late getting our Christmas stuff up last year I'm gonna put it up early this year.

Tucker is still doing the homeschool thing. He has a homeschool bowling league on Wednesday and a music class on Thursday. He's learning so fast. By the time he's gonna be in 8th grade I'm probably gonna have to get help teaching him because he'll probably be more advanced than I am.

So, anyway, that's all I feel like typing for now so until next time....Bye!!!!
