I keep forgetting about this.

DOH!!!! Oh well, not much going on, just trying to stay cool. We have a typical hot Ozark Summer going on. Heat index readings well over 100 degrees for weeks on end. I am ready for Fall and football.

Tucker has been growing like a weed. I measured him a couple weeks ago, in 4 months he's grown over 1 1/4". He's eating everything. He's also changing, he's not playing little kid things anymore. He's playing like a young boy. Playing guns, baseball, wrestling, acting like Ninja's etc etc.

It's exciting but also a little bittersweet. I am most certainly happy to have him enter this stage of life. This is going to be fun the next few years. It's the stage Father's dream of. Playing sports, fishing, hunting, going to football games and many other things.

But I also miss "baby Tucker" quite a bit too. And of course the regrets. I think I've done a pretty good job of raising him so far but looking back I also made quite a few stupid mistakes. But overall he's a happy, healthy and generally well behaved kid. He does have his moments though.

Last week we took Tucker to see the Haygoods down in Branson. He had a great time. He sat through the whole show and loved watching them entertain. We're gonna get Ray Stevens tickets soon. He's coming to Branson this Fall. Tucker is so excited. So are Kim and I. We all LOVE Ray Stevens. It's gonna be a blast.

Changing subjects, Kim's Mom lives with us and she's not in the best of health. She's also extremely opinionated and outspoken. Add some severe depression to the mix and it's been a little hard all of us living together in the same house. But she goes into surgery soon so hopefully she can get that fixed.

It's been hectic around here, I need to post more often.
