Well Spring came and went....

And it's cold and wet outside. A week ago or so it was in the 70's and sunny. But this is to be expected this time of year. But it still sucks.

Things are starting to get back to normal. Tucker is starting to catch up on his education and getting more active.

Dale started fading last Winter but as its warmed up a bit he's rebounded so maybe he'll be OK.
Other than that things are about the same. We're broke but generally happy so I reckon it balances out. Plus both cars are paid for and we don't have massive debt so we have that to be thankful for.

Well I'm gonna get off of here for a while....Until next time....Bye!!!!!

Well Tucker is 6

Tucker turned 6 Saturday. Crazy ain't it? He had a good birthday. He got all kinds of cool stuff, including the Nintendo DS he wanted. It was pretty expensive but considering what he's been through the last couple of months he deserves it.

He is getting so big. He's reading and he is learning about the Presidents right now. It's so good to see him grow up. Although I must admit that I sometimes miss baby Tucker. 6 year old Tucker is way too busy to give too many hugs and kisses, he's got stuff to do. I know it's cliche but I cannot believe how fast time goes by, especially when you have kids.

But now we've got to start getting ready for Spring and Summer, as usual we have plans to get out and do stuff. When it's cold we tend to stay in the house but when it warms up we get cabin fever and try to get out more.

So, until next time....Bye!!!

Life keeps going by and I forget about this...

Tucker got his PICC line out a week ago. He actually got to bowl last Wednesday on his league. His 1st game was a 106!! and his second was a 69. At 1st he was a bit upset for not beating his high game of 111 but he finally listened to me and all his friends that a 106 is awesome for your 1st game back from a brain surgery.

His 2nd game wasn't as good but he was starting to get tired plus he was playing with the other kids and having fun so his concentration wasn't there as much.

Other than that just the same thing. Trying to get by and being a Mr Mom. It's so awesome to have my boy back w/o having to hook him up to his IV pump everyday. The last couple of days have been a bit rough because while he was healing the DR said that him playing video games would be good for him, but now we have to get back into a routine and I'm starting to cut back on the video games.

But that was to be expected. He's gotten spoiled the last month and I'm not ashamed of it. Coming that close to losing him....hell yes I'm gonna spoil him for a little bit.

But it's time to start getting back into a routine. Between his schoolin and other stuff he'll start getting busy again and cutting back on the video games.

That's about it for now.

So until next time....Bye!!!
