Man it's hot

Summer is here and it sucks. It's brutal, hot and humid. And this is only June, I can't imagine how hot August will be.

Anyway, what's been going on. I found a new church I am going to try. I'm burned out on the whole fire and brimstone thing. I'm sick of the fundamentalist Christian BS. It reminds me so much of the Pharisees in Jesus day. They're so concerned about rules and "being saved" they have completely forgotten that Jesus taught about Love and forgiveness.

Enough of that, the word from Tucker's shrink is that he's "eccentric". In other words he's weird but he's definitely not autistic and probably not suffering from Aspergers syndrome. The shrink thinks he's gifted but it's really too early to put a label on him. And I'm not ever going to because I was always labeled "gifted" and so much more was expected out of me than normal kids.

I'm not going to push him to become something he doesn't want to be. If he wants to be a brain surgeon then great, if he wants to be a professional bowler, that's great too. Hell, if he wants to deliver pizza's and is happy doing it then I'm happy for him, and I'll be proud of him whatever he does for a living.

My pain level is getting pretty bad these days. The methadone isn't cutting it and I'm not asking for more. I'm going to try some herbal ideas, NO not the illegal ones. Kratom 1st then maybe some others. Hopefully they'll help me a little.

So other than that it's about the same around here. Just trying to raise this boy and survive the times. It would be a lot easier if I simply had more time and money, but I guess that's true for most people. LOL So, I'm gonna get off of here. TTYL
